Events

Teaching and learning events for USask educators.

Below are events offered by the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning organized annually and bi-annually each year. Each has an event page with details, schedule, and registration information.

GMCTL Fortnight

Held annually each August, Fall Fortnight is two weeks of informative and innovative workshops designed to support and inspire instructors prior to the start of the academic year.

The event schedule is typically posted early in August.

TA Success Days

Offered biannually, early in September and January, this event is organized for graduate students who are in a teaching assistant (TA) role at USask. It offers short workshops focused on supporting their work and the development of specific skills and knowledge relevant to the TA role.

This event is part of the TA Success Series programming.

Open Education Week

Held annually each March, this event is part of an internationally recognized Open Education Week, launched in 2012 by Open Education Global as a collaborative, community-built open forum.

During this week you'll find resources and support around Open Education, Open Pedagogy, and Open Resources. The GMCTL partners with educators across campus to share and celebrate our USask Open Education success stories.
