The Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning is proud to introduce the 2026 cohort of USask Assessment Champions.
This group represents nine Colleges and Schools across USask and are recognized for their thoughtful, innovative, and high‑impact assessment practices that meaningfully support student learning and success at the University of Saskatchewan.
These Champions represent the exceptional teaching happening across our institution: in classrooms, labs, studios, field sites, and online learning environments. Each Champion brings a strong commitment to designing assessments that help students learn deeply, demonstrate their abilities, and thrive in their academic journey.
Throughout 2026, this cohort will collaborate in a community of practice dedicated to assessment, innovation, and student success. They will meet monthly to share ideas, contribute practical examples that inspire colleagues, and help shape campus‑wide conversations about effective and engaging assessment. Their leadership will be highlighted at the USask Assessment Conference on April 30th, where their contributions will be showcased to the broader university community.
We are excited to celebrate and learn from this outstanding group of educators as they help advance assessment excellence across USask.
