Connect with USask educators leading thoughtful approaches to assessment

Assessment is changing as educators respond to new technologies, evolving student needs, changing expectations, and a growing emphasis on meaningful demonstrations of learning.

Representing nine colleges and schools, the 2026 cohort of USask Assessment Champions are educators who are thoughtfully engaging with these changes and adapting their practices to support student learning and success. Their work reflects the exceptional teaching happening across USask—in classrooms, labs, studios, field sites, and online learning environments.

Throughout 2026, the Champions have learned together, shared practical approaches through workshops and the USask Assessment Conference, and contributed to campus-wide conversations about effective and engaging assessment.
