Tailored workshops

Colleges and departments can request tailored professional development sessions relating to the strategic goals of your academic group.

The Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning's tailored workshops are able respond to current teaching and learning challenges that departments and colleges might face. Great examples include adopting Canvas as the University's learning management system, the institutional need to shift to remote teaching during the pandemic, and more recently, around Generative AI in teaching and learning.

Department heads and other leaders can contact us to set up a consultation and disucss your department's need.

  • Leaders may co-facilitate a session, or let our team lead the session.
  • Workshops are offered at the time and place that works for the department or group.
  • Workshops can be offered to the group in-person or online.

Process for planning a tailored workshop

  1. Request a workshop from GMCTL
  2. Meet our staff for a consultation to describe your requirements
  3. Review the proposed plan for the workshop, and suggest changes if needed
