Lana Elias joined the Gwenna Moss Centre of Teaching and Learning in 2023 and prior to that worked in International Education for Saskatoon Public Schools, in Science Outreach for the College of Arts and Science, as a high school teacher (in-person and online) and managed a science toy store, Einstein’s Toy Box.
Lana currently leads the team, formerly known as the Distance Education Unit, who is responsible for supporting: off-campus and regional college programming and partnerships, flexible course curriculum development (hybrid, blended and online), the use of educational technologies, and a tiered model for instructional design that ranges from individual coaching through cohort supports through more intensive course development.
