Teaching and Learning

Darryl Isbister is a Métis citizen whose family comes from the Kinistino area of this land called Saskatchewan.

Darryl joined the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning as Lead for Indigenous Education Initiatives in August 2022 following 25 years with Saskatoon Public Schools. Darryl provides support for USask faculty and staff prioritizing advancement of (re)conciliation through decolonization and Indigenous-informed teaching practices. Darryl's primary focus is to lead Indigenization and USask competencies, supporting inclusivity from an Indigenous lens, Indigenous pedagogy and current practice, and also diversity, equity, and inclusion.
