Nicole Lamoureux Instructional Designer

After receiving my B.Ed. from the University of Alberta, I have become an accomplished educator with a decade of experience in teaching, encompassing international roles in Abu Dhabi, Muscat, and Liuzhou. Currently, I hold the position of a high school science teacher in Calgary, Alberta, where I operate within an outreach setting. In this capacity, my work is centered on engaging with a diverse group of less-privileged students, offering them academic support and wrap-around community services, ultimately guiding them towards a successful path to graduation. My passion for equitable education and my dedication to helping underserved communities has been a driving force throughout my career.

Complementing my teaching background, I am also a recent graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, where I earned my M.Ed. in Educational Technology and Design. This advanced degree has provided me with a strong foundation in instructional design, and I am enthusiastic about leveraging these skills to contribute to the growth and development at USask.

Beyond my professional life, I have a zest for various interests, such as hot yoga, scuba diving, and exploring the world through travel and hiking in the Rockies. These experiences have shaped my holistic perspective on life and education, enriching my ability to connect with diverse individuals and communities.
