Nancy Lafleur BA, BEd, MEd Education Development Specialist – Indigenous Education Initiatives

Nancy Lafleur has worked in various capacities in the field of education for over thirty years. In, 2018, Nancy was recognized for her commitment and dedication to education when she received the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations, Strength of our Women Award in the category of Education.

Nancy is a University of Saskatchewan alumni with a Bachelor of Education degree (ITEP), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Native Studies. Nancy also has a M.Ed. in Curriculum Instruction.

Nancy’s role with the Gwenna Moss Centre will include broadening perspectives on Indigenization through Indigenous worldview and culture. She will provide guidance and instruction for faculty, staff and administrative units that include responses to reconciliation and Indigenous-informed curriculum.
