Ryan Banow joined the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning team in 2012. He has completed an M.Ed. (Educational Technology and Design), a B.Sc. (Math), and a B.Ed. (Secondary Math and Physics), and is currently studying for a Ph.D. (Education).
At the Gwenna Moss Centre, his main areas of support are active learning, online and remote learning, learning technologies (including Canvas, student response systems (e.g., Top Hat), and virtual reality), assessment design, teaching in STEM disciplines, course design, experiential learning, and undergraduate research as a teaching strategy. In addition to his work as an Educational Development Specialist, he often teaches undergraduate courses in the College of Education.
