After working in the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies as the Director of Internationalization for nine years, Penny Skilnik recently took up the position of Recruitment Strategist within the TLSE team. She brings to the position years of experience developing recruitment strategies for graduate studies, initiating strategic partnerships with governments and institutions in Asia and Latin America and collaborating with colleges and units to develop and deliver programming for students such as the ESL Bursary program, Graduate Pathways Certificate, dual degree and sponsored student programs, and more recently, the Cotutelle program for doctoral students. As a member of the student recruitment team, Penny plays a leadership role in the development of a collaborative and comprehensive recruitment strategy to enable the University to realize its goals for a growing and diversified student population.
