Teaching and Learning

Katelyn is an Indigenous Career Educator and oversees the Indigenous Student Employment Readiness Program (ISERP) at Career Services. Katelyn is a strong advocate for Indigenous education and the infusion of Indigenous knowledge. Katelyn also implements an anti-oppressive approach to her work and find ways to build that into developing skills that will translate into the workplace. Making connections, nurturing relationships, and building on professional skills through lived experiences are areas that Katelyn is passionate about.

Katelyn started her professional career as an educator in Indigenous communities and programs for four years before obtaining a position within the University of Saskatchewan.

Katelyn holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Regina (2018) and is currently pursuing a Post-Degree Certificate in Career and Guidance studies at the University of Saskatchewan.
