Teaching and Learning

Heather received her B.A. (Journalism) from California State University Northridge, her B.Ed. (Secondary Education) from the University of Toronto and her M.Ed. (Curriculum Studies - Educational Communications and Technology) from the University of Saskatchewan. She worked as an instructional designer at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic for six years before joining the team at the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning in November 2011 where she leads the USask open educational practices initiative including the use of open textbooks and integration of open pedagogy. She also consults on aspects of course design and development, as well as digital information literacy.
