Erin Walling
Experiential Learning Coordinator, RBC Learn to Work, Work to Learn Program LeadErin is an Experiential Learning Coordinator and the RBC Learn to Work, Work to Learn Program Lead whose primary purpose is to provide effective leadership and management of the RBC Learn to Work Program. In this role, Erin supports career development and experiential learning in undergraduate and graduate level courses across campus. Erin also plans the Kick Start you Career program each fall/winter and works with Alumni Services to collaboratively offer the USask Connects mentorship program for undergraduate students.
Erin has worked closely with USask senior leaders, faculty, and staff for the past 12 years. Before Career Services, Erin worked in the College of Medicine supporting and educating preceptors, as well as leading student-facing work through advocacy and committee work, focus groups, and hiring and supporting summer students. This included developing undergraduate curricular objectives and curriculum evaluation tools, and instructing classes and workshops on topics such as social accountability, allyship and microaggressions. Student success is close to Erin’s heart and she strives to continue to build partnerships and cultivate learning that better prepares students for transitioning into their careers.
Erin holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology and M.Sc. in Community Health and Epidemiology from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Leadership program at Edwards School of Business.
