Brette believes deeply in the transformative power of engaged learning experiences and is excited to support students in work-integrated learning opportunities to enhance their employability and personal development. Brette has held various contracts at the University of Saskatchewan, most recently has a Library Writing Help Tutor and Workshop facilitator where she enjoyed helping students enhance their written and oral communication skills.
Brette holds a MA in Religion and Culture Studies, focusing on critical discourse, social media, and the dynamics of religion and politics in Canada and the US. Other research interests include critical intersectional perspectives in women and gender studies, environmental justice, peace studies, and mental health and wellness education and advocacy.
