What the CAT tool is
The open source Curriculum Alignment Tool is one approach for collecting data about your program’s courses and inventorying their instructional methods, assessments, and contributions to program learning outcomes.
As a program administrator, you are able to create programs in CAT, select courses, enter program outcomes, map program outcomes to college or university organization outcomes, select drop down menus for characterizing course or program outcomes, and review summaries of course data after instructors enter their information.
How to use CAT: For Program Administrators
As someone who is teaching in a program undertaking curriculum development, renewal or innovation, your program will likely invite you to input information about your courses.
