Colleen is the Employer and Community Engagement Coordinator with the Career Services team. She provides strategic leadership in employer and community engagement to increase the diversity of partnering and recruiting organizations, and expand the range of recruitment activities and quality career opportunities for USask students and alumni.
Colleen has extensive experience working within local not-for-profit organizations and municipal government offices within disciplines of employment, community development, and recreation programming. She has also spent two years working in the UK within the primary education system.
Colleen is committed to advancing career education institutionally, understanding the needs of employer and community partners, and working effectively with college and unit partners to create meaningful opportunities for students and alumni. Colleen uses a collaborative approach and builds meaningful connections and relationships based on reciprocity. She truly values inclusion and providing equitable ways to engage and connect within our community.
Colleen holds a Bachelor of Recreation and Sport Studies from the University of New Brunswick.
